Bring on Dee Why Football Club

The last training session of the week is over and thoughts turn to Saturdays first home game of the season. We welcome Dee Why Football Club as Vale's first visitors to the fortress that is David Thomas Reserve.

Dee Why lost 1-0 last week to Brookvale Football Club. We all know that Brookie are a great side, so to go down by only one goal shouldn't be laughed at. Dee Why's reserves went down 8-0. I couldn't stop laughing. Hilarious stuff.

Joking aside! We all know how strong Brookies reserves are and Dee Why's reserves will be pumped and up for it this Saturday! All up Dee Why will be wanting a win after their squad conceded 6 points last week. We are looking better with 4 points positive for our squad.

First grade are going to be itching for their first win and will certainly have a job on their hands to get one. We have been training hard and if we keep our minds on the job we should be confident that we can grab 3 points this Saturday. Dee Why are a battling side and we need to be on our toes. It's all on!

Welcome Dee Why Football Club and "Go On The Vale!" this Saturday.

As a coach says to his ball boy: - "lets keep it pumped!"

(Lets also keep it maroon and white.)
